Running and Track Races; the Slingshot Sprint and Final Kick
If you are an athlete who competes in Track and Field and run the 200, 400, 800 meter or run the one mile run then you need to understand how to become one with the track to win. There is a point at which you are in oxygen debt and your body is taking all your oxygen it can to give it to your muscles. You brain still demands some, but you can tell that it ain’t getting much more than is necessary and certainly not enough to turn on a light bulb.
When everything is working perfectly and you are winning the race or about to make that final kick to secure the victory that is owed to you for all your pre-race training, strategy and skill; you will know it. As you come off that last turn and before you even bother to look up to see the tape, which you are going to dive your head into at full speed with your arms swept back like a fight jet and exhaling that final breath in trade for the fresh sweat breath of victory; you must slingshot your body off the curve.
How do you do this? Well you become one with the track and fell all the forces of nature and balance between them and accelerate to full speed plus leaning forward and using that turn, they one you own and are one with. Each and every step is perfectly placed and your body leans into an impossible position to hold without the full momentum of your stride. That is when becoming one with the track will insure your victory as no one else can be that close to all things on the way to victory. Trust me.
